Is the GRE Exam Expensive?

The exact conversion from dollar to INR changes based on the differences in Dollar to Rupee value. The GRE subject test fee is $150, and remains the same in all the countries. The fees can be paid through several modes of payment such as Money Order/Certified Check/Voucher, Paypal, E-cheque service (only drawn against U.S. bank accounts) and Credit cards or debit cards (Only MasterCard, American Express,  Rupay Global, Visa etc)

Are you Eligible to Take the Exam?

Before moving on with the registration process, and paying the fee, it is important to check if you are eligible for the exam. ETS hasn’t  officially stated any eligibility criteria for GRE. Age, educational qualification etc., is not a barrier for taking the GRE. However, you must have a valid proof, if you want to take the exam. Besides, you must carry the same ID that you’ve submitted during registration. Your application will be considered ineligible if those two IDs do not match.
